Elizabeth (Lily) Hills

Elizabeth (Lily) Hills is an energetic dynamo. An award-winning author, life coach and compelling speaker, Lily facilitates women’s empowerment workshops and co-hosts the internet radio show, The Goddess to Goddess Empower Hour with her best friend, Karen Hudson. Together they share inspirational information “for Women and the Divine Dudes that Love Them.”

Having struggled with a hugely compulsive relationship with food for more than a decade of her life, Lily ultimately realized that accepting, appreciating and honoring the body is the most direct path to achieving the healthiest and optimal weight. Her personal recovery from obesity, weight obsession and body judgment resulted in her book, The Body Love Manual: How to Love the Body You Have As You Create the Body You Want, and led to the creation of The Body Love Center. She says she wrote the book to heal the wounds that developed from being ashamed of her body and overly preoccupied with food. She hopes to educate as many people as possible on the dangers of dieting, knowing that they all too often lead to a highly compulsive relationship with food.

Lily is passionate about coaching women to achieve connected and accepting relationships with their bodies as they heal food addictions and achieve their “natural” and healthiest weight. Her mission is to educate women how to be a healthy example of body respect and appreciation to serve as role models for their daughters, their daughter’s daughters and generations of future females. She leads workshops for women that focus on building self-respect, self-appreciation and balanced living to develop self-esteem and self-acceptance so that they can be freed to live in more peace and joy.

A persuasive and skilled fundraiser, Lily has been responsible for raising money for so many worthy charitable and civic causes. She served as president and co-founder of Hills & Hills Consultants, a fundraising consulting business for non-profit organizations. Long before the buzzwords, “socially responsible” became part of the movement of consciousness, Lily was a key member of the leadership team as vice president for marketing for the San Francisco-based Horus Investment Management, a company managing money with conscientious investments. While at Horus, she helped launch the Women’s Equity Mutual Fund, the first mutual fund in the country to invest solely in companies that are proactive towards women. Lily also spent time in the non-profit sector as the assistant executive director for the Leukemia Society of America, Northern California chapter.

With her goddess partner, Karen Hudson, Lily co-authored the book, A Feminine Manifesta, detailing the importance of empowering women to make differences in our homes, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods, in our communities, in our cities, in our states, in our country and in the world.

“There is no doubt that many of our social, economic, religious and political structures are failing us as a global community,” Lily explains. “With wars being waged all over the world in which women and children are primary victims, our economic systems failing the majority and environmental degradation threatening our children’s future, there simply couldn’t be a better time for us ladies to get our acts together…and then get together. When we women are in solidarity,” she adds, “our power to improve the circumstances of the world will be multiplied exponentially. We will have the critical mass required to create a shift towards a more peaceful planet. The world is in desperate need of the best we women can offer, and the first step in rising to our full potential is to learn how to be kinder to the person we will be spending the rest of our lives with: ourselves.”

At The WE Conference™, Lily and Karen will be sharing their secrets on how to Fire Your Inner Critic & Find Self-Love.
